Where did Hopefully Parents Begin?
Several years ago the team at Our Chosen Child Adoption Profile Design was getting lots of request from clients for information about how to embark on doing their adoption outreach. Over and over again clients asked for a way to have their adoption profile and contact information online, but not on one of those huge, expensive, public sites like Parent Profiles. Clients were also asking for basics like outreach cards, postcards and other printed outreach materials. Joanna Ivey, the founder of Our Chosen Child grew frustrated that there wasn't a good place to refer her clients to. Either the adoption outreach cards looked cheesy and cookie cutter or they were ridiculously expensive, and there was no one offering a complete set of adoption outreach materials including inexpensive hosting.
As the saying goes, if you want something done just ask a busy person to do it. Joanna created Hopefully Parents to assist the client families of Our Chosen Child with the next steps in their adoption journey- adoption outreach and adoption networking. As the client base has grown and given great feedback on the products we offer our packages have grown and changed to best meet the needs of our clients. We serve clients nationwide and offer a robust set of outreach materials, all customized to each individual client.
As Hopefully Parents has grown over the past couple years another request was heard over and over again, this time for a comprehensive guide to adoption outreach. Where can you advertise? How can you use Facebook in your search? What about placing print ads? Again, wanting to be responsive to client needs the team at Hopefully Parents has written The Essential Guide to Adoption Outreach: Using Social Media and Personal Networking to Adopt in Today's World. Our one-of-a-kind book covers personal adoption outreach, social media and advertising. It contains actionable adoption outreach ideas, accurate and complete user guides and real-life experience from other adoptive families. The Essential Guide to Adoption Outreach will be available for purchase in SUMMER 2017!!
